This 30‑second DOOH animation was created for Dufry’s “Sense of Place China” campaign, presenting a mesmerizing world of crystalline geometric forms rendered in rich amber, gold, and copper tones. The camera glides through an abstract landscape of faceted shapes that refract and scatter light like precious gemstones, creating a premium visual experience designed for high‑end retail displays.

THE BRIEF

Crafting an Abstract Expression of Cultural Luxury

The brief called for a visually striking animation that communicates cultural richness and premium quality through abstract design rather than literal imagery. The piece needed to evoke elegance, depth, and refinement—aligning with Dufry’s global travel‑retail identity. Warm metallic tones, crystalline materials, and cinematic lighting were essential to creating a sense of place that feels both modern and culturally resonant.

THE PRODUCTION

Production focused on creating a richly layered 3D environment with realistic material properties and fluid camera movement. Key elements included:

Crystalline geometric structures with faceted surfaces and refractive glass‑like shaders
