This 10‑second Retail POS animation was created to promote Skittles Dips, blending the brand’s iconic bold red backdrop with a smooth, cream‑coloured dip element that flows organically across the frame. Designed for digital six‑sheet displays, the piece delivers a vibrant, appetizing visual moment that stands out in busy retail environments.
The brief called for a clean, brand‑focused animation that highlights Skittles’ signature colour palette while introducing the creamy “Dips” product concept. The animation needed to feel fluid, modern, and instantly readable, with motion that draws the viewer’s eye without overwhelming the composition. The final deliverable had to be optimised for Retail POS and DOOH formats and short‑form attention spans.
Production centred on creating a smooth, flowing dip animation that adds depth and movement while keeping the layout minimal and product‑first. The cream‑coloured wave was animated with soft, organic curves to evoke flavour and texture, contrasting against the bold red background. Every motion cue—from timing to easing—was designed for clarity on vertical digital six‑sheet displays. The result is a crisp, modern animation that communicates flavour and freshness through motion alone.
